That would be just another thing to have to carry around with you so it wouldn't be stolen... Besides, here in Cleveland the homeless tend to sleep on sewer grates for warmth in the winter. A hammock would let all that yummy steam escape. I think if I were homeless I'd find some deserted part of the woods, build a little shelter, eat whatever geese I could catch ( squirrels are too cute to kill, I'd befriend a colony if them instead ) and chill on my homeless handmade hammock.
