You know that sound people make when something is intended to be funny, but isn't funny, but those same people want to acknowledge the fact that they understand that it is intended to be funny (but in fact, is not funny)?
Is there a word for that? 'Amused Grunt' kind of captures it, but leaves out the fact that the failed intended funnyism...isn't.
Pseudo Amused Grunt?
False Chuckle?
Pho Chuckle?
Help me out here.
Anyway - once we define the term, I have a contribution:
"As wrong as a bee drunk on mead!"
Yep, I'm so darn funny that I just made that up. It has the added benefit of being suitable for use in historical works.

"Bleep You, MC Etcher!"
Urban Dictionary did not give my new word "phapp" (a new word/contraction for "phone app") a thumbs up.
Something about "thanks but not so much, with the good".
What the bleep?! Who do they think they are? Hmph.
So I signed up as an editor, and submitted it again.
Phapp is a great new word! (Would it be better as "ph'app"?) You guys could help me out by using the word 'phapp' liberally in conversation, in IM's, in SMS's, and in your blogs. Let's get the 21st Century headed in the right direction with a great new word!
My most recent phapp is the Barnes & Noble E-Reader. It actually has even more features than the Kindle phapp, which I thought was pretty snazzy already.

A new word from EtchCo Labs...
Are you ready?
Phone + Software Application: typically known as a "Phone App". Henceforth, this shall be known as: "Phapp".

Grumpy Du!
Du: New Speak - Origin: Brat1
Short form of "Dude", corrupted to mean any person, especially one with whom we are sympathetic.
Uses:
Lil Scampery Du = A small and cute child.
Lil Old Du = An elderly person
Good Du = A productive or well behaved person
Excellent Du = A hard worker or especially thoughtful person
Bad Du = Naughty or lazy person
So yeah, I was a grumpy du this morning. The day has definitely improved. I have a new stash of fruit in the fridge, and I had some tasty lunch. I don't know what to expect for tonight - overtime I mean...
I think we're about to get a new build, so the evening depends on how the build turns out I suppose. I went home around 7:30 last night, so I could work late tonight without hating life too much. Especially since it's hot out and work has AC.
