Ummmmm

Did I already take my vitamin? What would happen if I took one now, thinking it was the first one but it was really the second one? Would my pee just be extra Extra Yellow? Or would I go briefly insane from too many miligrams of Molybdenum?

...not that a brief episode of insanity wouldn't be useful.

  1. It all depends on what's in the vitamin and how much of it. If it's a normal multi-vitamin that doesn't have hugely excessive amounts of the fat-soluble vitamins (ADEK) or heavy metals like molybdenum (metal levels in vitamins tend to be pretty low anyway), and you are a normal healthy adult, it would probably not do anything...well, maybe make your pee super yellow if it has lots of B's in it. That said, I wouldn't recommend doubling up all the time, since those fat-soluble vitamins don't just leave when you get more than you need.

  2. Vitamins are for the weak! Eat an apple instead.

  3. Thanks Craig! Glad to have an informed opinion on the subject!

I used the "when in doubt, don't" rule and didn't take an extra one - why risk it?
