Real Life Conversation # 5

"How'd it go at the vet?"

"It went fine. She's a happy healthy kitty."

"Cool. She behaved for you?"

"Well, she pretended not to know me, but yeah."

"Soon she'll be asking us to drop her off a block away so we won't embarrass her."

    It's true, if I put Buddy on the leash and walk to the mail-box, Padme will come with us...but she'll walk about 10 feet ahead, lie down, wait until he's about 15 feet behind us, start walking again...

    In other words, he just happens to be walking around the same area at the same time...he's not doing anything so plebian as joining us for 'a walk'.
