I'm probably the only fool on the planet that does this - when I'm alone, I occasionally quip out loud with some self-congratulatory morale-building mini-cheer.
Such as:
"Bwa ha ha!"
"Hell Yeah!"
"Kickin Ass!"
"That's Right!"
...And the one I'm least proud of - "Aw yeah bitches, who's your daddy?"
Learn from my mistake - don't do this.
The problem is, you might not be alone.
The other problem is, you might be in the wrong bathroom.
Ha! There's a mistake you only make two or tree times in your life.
ReplyDeleteNo, you aren't the only one. I often celebrate/taunt when I get something working. For instance, if I work for a week trying to get some code to play nice and it finally does, I will yell at the computer (and compiler) that I own it and that it's my bitch.
I use "stream of conciousness" ramblings to distract myself when I'm doing something I hate, like washing dishes.
ReplyDeleteI may begin with a short rendition of "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard"..paying particular attention to the "Tell me where is Gandalf, for I much desire to speak with him." Part. Then comes my Gollum impression (Cam oooon, Hobbitses). Followed by a very loud singing of the battle theme.
Of course, that's only if I've watched LoTR recently.
Don't worry about it. It's the really normal people that are weird.
