Usually we don't do anything special over a holiday weekend (or any weekend - Friday nights are all about laundry), but this Labor Day we did the 1940's cliche road trip, Niagara Falls.
It was grand and huge and amazing, and we had a four hour road trip with the family from Ohio which passed peacefully, and with lots of tasty snackage.
Still pictures can't do The Falls justice, but I'll post a couple soon.

You know, I haven't blogged for days--but your site is the very first I looked at this week!
ReplyDeleteI adored Niagara. Too bad it has such a touristy-tainted rep, huh?
So glad you two had a great time.
Aww, you visited me first! I'm flattered!
ReplyDeleteThe Falls - Yeah, more commercial than I expected. We stayed on the Canadian side and it was like a mini Vegas.
It's cool that there is plenty to do, and you might have to come back two or three times to do it all.
