Microsoft is preparing to unveil Windows Vista, which will offer an amazing new array of options and features. Some of these features are secret, but as a software industry insider, I'm privy to interesting tidbits.
One feature I'm very much looking forward to is the Prose Scanner, nicknamed The Crap Detector; I know my blog will improve once this debuts.
.
Apologies for demonstrating my lack of techno-knowledge, but is Vista a new OS then? :)
ReplyDeleteYep, new and improved in the classic microsoft way.
ReplyDeleteIt'll look much flashier (In fact, one hell of a lot like Mac OS 10), it'l have all kinds of features, like windows that will 'lean' in a cool looking 3d way when you minimize them.
Basically, the only real differences with be cosmetic, only it'll take up half your hard-drive, use 50 times more memory and Processing power...and will need to be 'updated' every single hour for two years.
Lovely! Can I use this in my 151 class?!?
ReplyDeleteBut no fear, your prose would never be in the red.
SQ: Of course you can use this in your class! I don't know why you'd want to, since I made it all up.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Mike, if that's your real picture on the Etch-A-Sketch...we look scarily similar.
